Troubleshooting

1. Confirm the affected page uses a normal http:// or https:// address.
2. Open the extension popup and verify that Protection is enabled.
3. Select Rescan page if content loaded dynamically after the first scan.
4. Review Recent interventions in the popup for the detected surface and action.
5. If useful, create a local privacy-preserving report. Review it before choosing whether to share it.

What to include in a report

• Browser name and version.
• Prompt Firewall version (currently 0.2.0).
• Whether the issue occurred on a normal webpage, supported AI web app, or browser-native AI surface.
• Whether it was a missed detection or false positive.
• Whether you generated a privacy-preserving report. Do not email raw sensitive page or prompt content unless it is necessary and you are comfortable sharing it.
